It's been over a months since I've been here again and I want to thank all of you who faved my pictures during this time and say a very warm welcome to my new watchers! I'm so happy you like my pictures enough to watch me and I feel very honoured by your attention!

I fear though that university is taking up an awful lot of time again this semester and thus I have spent most of my days locked up and crouched over books in my room, while outside spring came and turned into early summer. Thus I fear: There will be no beautiful flower pictures this year - which annoys me a ton, believe me...
Picture taking has been going slow lately, but I hope to find some time for some cool summer pictures. Wish me luck.
I will not be able to visit often, so please don't be disappointed, if comments aren't responded to at once or I don't thank you for a fav you give me (I do that in advance here )...

It's been some time since I was here last - so sorry... I first of all want to thank all my new watchers for honouring my pictures with their attention! I'm really happy that so many of you like my work!

TO get to a bit sadder topic, a lot of you people might have missed seeing me online and have wondered why I havn't uploaded any new pics lately, well - at the moment I have a lot of work to do for university: Another paper has been handed out and I've some trouble solving it... so I spent my days locked up in the library or my flat, reading, reading and then reading some more... As you might imagine there's not much time for picture taking because of that and to make matters worse the weather is horrible! It really shouldn't be snowing/raining all the time in March! >/ I hope to find a (sunny) day to take off from work soonish so that I can venture forth into the wild and take some pictures of the newly awakened nature... but work comes before the fun.
So until then I fear you'll have to wait for new pics and be content to look at some older ones.

Hey everyone!
A (late) merry Christmas to all of you, I hope you had a great one! Mine certainly was.

The first pictures taken with my lovely, new Pentax are up and I hope you enjoy them. I think the cam was worth every penny! I'll upload some pictures from the first concert I shot with it in the next couple of days as well, cause I have to say I'm mightily pleased with how the pictures turned out.
The only thing that bothers me with the cam is that I can't zoom too far with the 18-55mm lense that I've got. After the 10x zoom I was used to have with my Lumix, I simply can't stand the feeling not to be able to take any closeup pictures anymore. So the next big investment I'll have to make in the next 6-12 months, will be buying a nice 70-200mm lense.
If any of you have advice which one I should get for my K10D, it is really appreciated.

I went Christmas shopping for today - for myself! Haha!
The result, I'm proud owner of a Pentax K10D with a beautiful Sigma 18-55mm, F2,8 lense and a very sweet little black and blue tamron bag! I absolutely love it! It's all dark outside so I can't really take any pics yet, but I really can't wait to try it out.

Using a SLR is totally different from using an automatic camera, but it definately feels great to feel the weight and have some place to put your hands! ^^ I hope I'll learn how to use this beautiful camera soon.

Hey guys! I finally found my perfect SLR: A beautiful Pentax K10D. I found it second hand (but in superb condition) at a local shop and couldn't help but reserve it on my name together with a nice sigma lense.
So - at the beginning of December I can pick both my new babies up and a new era of photography will start for lil' ol' me - or at least I hope so. I'm really excited and happy about this best christmas present EVER that I'll give to myself. Can't wait to show you my first results.
